Charlie Sheen has found a new TV home on FX! The cable channel has picked up Anger Management, a show based on the 2003 movie starring Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler. Sheen will play Nicholson’s character. FX has ordered ten episodes of the new program, with an agreement for another NINETY if the first ten do well in the ratings.

After 2 days of talks in Geneva, the US and North Korea have been unable to come to an agreement on resuming stalled negotiations on the North’s nuclear program. Pyongyang has been pushing for six-party talks to resume with no pre-conditions. The US first wants North Korea to commit to disarm. Talks initially broke down two and a half years ago when North Korea walked out – shortly before testing their second nuclear weapon.

Will Ferrell has come a long way from banging a cowbell on Saturday Night Live. Ferrell put on a tux and his best George W. impression to accept the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor from the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The award is considered the highest honor in comedy and was given to Ferrell for co-founding popular website Funny or Die.

Lindsay Lohan has finally agreed to do Playboy! Hef’s people have been hounding Lindsay for years but apparently it was her people that approached him this time around. Hugh Hefner got another slap in the face from his former fiancé Crystal Harris on Tuesday. Harris auctioned off the engagement ring Hef gave her less than a year ago for less than half of the item’s original price. The 3.4 carat diamond ring went up on the block at Christie’s in New York and ended up fetching just $38,000 dollars. Hef paid $90,000.

The infamous “Hollywood Hacker” has been arrested. Christopher Chaney of Jacksonville Florida stands accused of hacking the computers of more than 50 stars including Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera and Mila Kunis. Chaney has been indicted on charges of accessing protected computers without authorization and aggravated identity theft among others. If convicted he’ll spend a minimum of 2 years behind bars.

Filming of Brad Pitt’s new movie “World War Z” ground to a halt in Budapest on Monday when throngs of Hungarian police conducted a raid on the set. Police seized 85 guns, including AK-47’s and sniper rifles, that were set to be used as props. Authorities had received word that the weapons were not properly disabled and moved in to secure the potentially dangerous situation.

The British government is looking to boost the sluggish economy by raising the speed limit! Transport Secretary Philip Hammond wants to raise the limit on national motorways from seventy to eighty miles an hour, a change he says would bring economic benefits in the hundreds of millions through shorter journey times.

This season of The Simpsons could be the LAST. Fox says it can’t go on producing more seasons under its current financial model. They have proposed that the main cast members take a 45 percent pay cut down from $8 million to just over $4 million. The actors had previously tried to negotiate a smaller pay cut and a percentage of the back end.

News program “60 Minutes” marked the end of an era as they said goodbye to their longtime commentator Andy Rooney. Rooney has been a fixture on the program since 1978, closing the show with his commentaries. CBS says we haven’t necessarily seen the last of Rooney. They say their door will always be open to the 92-year-old if he has something to say.
